The foundation of our boarding is plenty of space. Our 40-hectare pastures are located in a hilly landscape, far from pesticides and sprays. It is this natural movement in the hills that helps horses maintain good condition, coordination, and robust health.
In winter, horses have spacious shelters at their disposal and an unlimited supply of quality hay in feeders, ensuring that all horses can access it as needed. The herds are larger (30 - 40 horses) and of mixed ages, so weanlings, young horses, horses in training, and retired seniors all live together. This method of rearing has a positive impact not only on their mental well-being but also on their physical development.
Foal Rearing
Foals grow up in a mixed herd, where they naturally learn social skills and respect. Being outdoors in all types of weather and having constant contact with other horses builds their mental resilience and physical strength. We supervise every foal, getting them used to human contact and basic handling to make their transition to future training as easy as possible. Before they begin actual training, they gain the most important foundations with us: respect for the herd hierarchy and trust in humans. In our experience, a horse that has grown up in a herd with peers is much more predictable and better prepared for future work. Young horses here have the space to mature in peace.

Boarding for Seniors and Horses with Respiratory Issues
The mountain climate of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava) is ideal for horses with respiratory issues. Thanks to our location and approach, we are a sought-after place for retired horses. A 24/7 regime in the fresh air combined with quality hay does wonders for their health.
For older horses who already need their peace and quiet, we provide individual management and constant supervision to catch any change in their condition in time. We offer a calm environment in a smaller herd with the possibility of individual feeding and blanketing.
